Uniforms are required and our dress code is enforced. iUniforms will provide all Franklin Academy uniform items.
Uniforms must be purchased from our vendor to ensure equity and safety.
Once your child has been accepted to Franklin Academy, you may request bus transportation during the online registration process. Transportation requests can be submitted directly to the bus company by using the following website:
Transportation is available on a limited basis. Franklin Academy offers transportation for students who live between 2 and 4 miles from the campus. If you live within two miles of the campus, you must provide transportation for your child(ren). The link to apply for a seat for the 2019-2020 school year is below:
Please note: Students who register using this form will not be contacted until bus notifications are distributed for the upcoming school year, about 2 weeks before the first day of school. The school will not have this information. Also, the site will not work with Google Chrome, so all requests must be submitted using Firefox, Safari or Internet Explorer!
Parents are welcome to drive their students to and from our campus. Franklin Academy utilizes our custom built FranklinPass dismissal system to manage pick-up and drop-off traffic. Detailed procedures on the arrival and dismissal processes can be found in the Policies & Procedures section of the website.
If your child was enrolled in 2017-18, and actively utilized the bus assignment provided by the A&S Transportation office, you will automatically be registered for 2018-19 using your 2017-18 address on file.
For the 2018-2019 school year, families have until June 30, 2018 to apply their students for bus transportation. Those eligible will be assigned and accommodated to the best of our abilities. Any applications received after June 30, 2018 will be assigned on a first come, first served basis for those eligible and if room permits.
Please enter your home address only. When transportation is assigned, a bus pass will be emailed. Bus passes for students registered before June 30, 2018 will be emailed two weeks before the start of school. Bus stops are subject to change from year-to-year.

What if you want to be in a carpool but you don’t know any other Franklin Academy families? Use our new carpool matching service to find families that live near you who are also interested in starting up a carpool.
In addition to the personal and social advantages of carpooling, registered Franklin Academy carpoolers are allowed to arrive on campus 5 minutes earlier than everyone else for afternoon pick-up.

The site will find potential suitable matches
Contact your matches and agree to become a carpool
Register with the school to get your special white Franklin carpool key fob
The service is free and completely optional. Information on when and where you can register your carpool with the school will be forthcoming, but create your account today to start finding other Franklin Families
Private transportation companies are permitted as a transportation option for families, so long as the private transportation company follows Franklin’s pick-up & drop-off procedures.
Report an Absence
To report an excused absence please send an email to the following address:
Refer to our Attendance Policy for a list of valid reasons.
Your email should include the following:
• First and Last Name of Person Reporting Absence
• Student’s First and Last Name
• Grade Level
• Homeroom Teacher
• Date of Absence
• Reason for Absence
Please allow 72 hours for processing.
NOTE: If reason for absence is not in the Attendance Policy the absence will remain unexcused.
